We in Aruba Education Services developed several exams that test you at increasing levels of difficulty and that cover key technologies. More exams are in development and should become available within the next six months. Current exams include the following.
Four exams focus upon Aruba OS: ACMA, ACMP, ACMX, ACDX
ACMA (Aruba Certified Mobility Associate) helps you to evaluate your knowledge level in deploying a basic single controller network that utilizes Captive Portal and 802.1X authentication. The multiple-choice exam is available on-line at no charge and is based upon the “Implementing Aruba WLANs” (IAW) class.
ACMP (Aruba Certified Mobility Professional) sets the minimum bar for others to evaluate your skill level in an Aruba environment. Building upon ACMA, the ACMP exam covers more complex network settings with multiple controllers, advanced authentication methods, redundancy and mobility as examples. IAW plus the “Scalable WLAN Design and Implementation” (SWDI) courses provide the basis for the ACMP exam. Alternatively, the IAW and SWDI content is available through a single class, “Mobility Boot Camp” )MBC). We offer ACMP through Pearson Vue testing centers.
ACDX (Aruba Certified Design eXpert) allows you to demonstrate your abilities at understanding the needs of a new Aruba network and to plan the equipment purchase and deployment. You must create Excel, Vixio and Word documents describing your proposed network equipment list and other relevant details. The exam does not use any Aruba equipment. This eight-hour exam is proctored by Aruba.
ACMX (Aruba Certified Mobility eXpert) validates your proficiency at deploying a multi-controller Aruba network. Test elements include core skills such as building FireWall policies and Roles, fulfilling complex redundancy needs, supporting multiple media types and troubleshooting. This eight-hour exam, proctored by Aruba, is hands-on with multiple controllers and APs.
Outdoor Mesh Technologies
AWMP (Aruba Wireless Mesh Professional), offered through Pearson Vue test centers, is based upon Aruba’s AirMesh Outdoor Mesh solutions. This includes products such as the MSR and MST series hardware, their configuration methods and options, as well as troubleshooting and best practices for deployment.
