The ACMX (Aruba Certified Mobility eXpert) exam allows you to demonstrate your proficiency in provisioning and troubleshooting a multi-controller network from scratch. The exam proctor provides you with a requirements document describing the network you need to build that demonstrate various core features of an Aruba network. You may be asked to build this network so that it supports latency sensitive traffic in a highly survivable environment. You may need to do some troubleshooting. You may need to build firewall policies and user roles.
In the exam, you have an eight-hour exam window to correctly complete the objectives using the Aruba supplied controllers and APs. (There is a mandatory lunch break for your beneifit. The lunch time does not count towards the eight hour exam time.) You do not need to provision any third party equipment, but such equipment will be present for you to test and verify.
Additionally, you will need to be proficient with AirWave so it can monitor the Aruba network elements.
The exam is not simple. But anyone who passed can assert that it is rewarding.
