Q: Can we have a anchor ip configuration in DHCP deployment in the IP mobility case?
A: Anchor IP is configured in the hat table is intended only for static IP case, from 6.3 on and above mobile ip does not look at client's dhcp transaction and HA discovery is done based on MAC address DHCP traffic follows.
However, for anchor ip case we find out the possible HA (home-agent) based on subnet of the client.
Hence, the anchor ip model works only with ipv4 static ip clients.
If clients have either ipv6, or (both ipv4 and ipv6) or (ipv4 DHCP) the anchor ip model will not work
Hence in IP mobility case clients getting IP address from DHCP should not be using anchor IP.
