Q:

Does the Aruba AP support portfast on its Ethernet port?

From 6.5 code portfast feature is supported in the Ap port. 

Once PortFast is enabled the port still participates in STP; eligible ports become blocking if a loop is detected.

When BPDU is received the port moves to disabled state; usually  configured on edge ports where BPDUs are not expected. It works in all forwarding modes tunnel, bridge and split-tunnel.

We need to enable 'portfast' on Ethernet interface port configuration for the AP.
