Does the eth1 port the Aruba AP-125 come up using PowerDsine 3000 Series?

Product and Software: This article applies to Aruba AP-125 APs and ArubaOS 2.x and 3.x.

The Aruba AP-12x APs can work on one of the following power profiles:

But the PowerDsine 3000 Series does not provide enough power to go for Power Profile 1, so it cannot bring up the eth1 port on AP-125.

To verify that the AP is in Power Profile 2, follow these steps:

1) From the console output of the AP-125, you find the following message:

"Shutting down eth1 due to insufficient POE voltage [power profile 2] "

2) From the controller, using the command

show ap debug system-status ap-name 00:1a:1e:c0:02:1c  | begin Power

To go for Power Profile 1, you can use PowerDsine 7000 Series only.
