A:

Does the "Service-type" attribute in Radius Auth request changes based on the Authentication method?

Starting from 6.4.3.0 AOS, the Service-Type attribute values in RADIUS authentication requests changes as per the Authentication methods (MAC, dot1x and Captive portal)

        Service-type = Call-Check     (MAC auth)
        Service-type = Framed          (802.1X auth)
Service-type = Login               (Captive portal auth)

For MAC auth, the service-type is set to Call-Check.

For Dot1x auth, the service-type is set to Framed.

For Captive portal auth, the service-type is set to Login.
