The errors are also visible in "ap debug log"

show ap debug log  ap-name "test-ap"

Why am I seeing these messages and can something be done to avoid these?

A:

These messages pertains to RDNSS described in RFC 5006. RDNSS stands for Recursive DNS Server.

RDNSS is an of IPv6 ND (Neighbor Discovery) protocol, contains the address of recursive DNS servers. AP can receive the RDNSS option in ND advertisement  from router that configured RDNSS addresses. AP then parses and keeps the list.

If debugging is enabled, AP will print all the RDNSS addresses by debugging level system syslog.

Thus:

1. This is a harmless message which can be ignored.

2. We can raise the debug levels to stop receiving the addresses.
