How can I determine the reason that ARM scans are getting rejected on different channels within the same band?

Product and Software: This article applies to all Aruba controllers and ArubaOS 3.x.

 

Issue the following command in the CLI to help find the reason the ARM scans are getting rejected. The results can help to isolate the area for troubleshooting the issue.

 

#show ap debug radio-stats ap-name <ap-name> radio <0 or 1> advanced | include scan

This command displays the total scan requests, total scan rejects, and the reasons the scan get rejected. In this example, a majority of the scans are rejected because the clients are in power save mode.
