Product and Software: This article applies to all Aruba AeroScout deployments.
To configure the AeroScout Engine on the controller, configure the AeroScout server IP address and the port number with the aeroscout-rtls-server ip-addr <ipaddr> port <port> command in the AP system profile.
(config) #ap system-profile Aeroscout-test
(AP system profile "Aeroscout-test") #aeroscout-rtls-server ip-addr 192.168.10.10 port 12092
When you configure the AP system profile with the AeroScout server information, the APs in the corresponding AP group with this AP system profile send a Generic Notification to the AeroScout engine.
Here is a packet capture of the Generic Notification from the AP and its acknowledgement back from the AeroScout server.
This sample Generic Notification and its acknowledgment are taken from the AeroScout server.
