How do I disable master discovery via DHCP from Aruba internal DHCP server?

Aruba Employee

Product and Software: This article applies to all Aruba controllers and ArubaOS 3.4 or later.

Even after disabling the ADP on the controller, AP still can find the master.

DHCP can be enabled on the controller, and by default, option 43 is enabled on the Aruba controller with all the vendor-specific information. Therefore, APs can find the master from the IP address they got from the DHCP option 43.

In the latest ArubaOS 3.4 code, you can disable option 43 for DHCP scopes.
