How do I enable the debug option on a specific access point?

Product and Software: This article applies to the Aruba 5000, Aruba 6000, Aruba 3000, Aruba 2400, Aruba 800, and Aruba 200 Mobility Controllers and to ArubaOS 3.3.2.14.

 

To enable the debug on a specific access point, follow these steps:

 

1) Login to the controller where the access point is terminated and enter the enable mode.

 

2) Enter the configuration mode by entering the following command:

config t

 

3) Enter the following command:

logging level debugging ap-debug <ap name> process approc

 

4) Enter the following command:

end

 

5) To save the configuration, enter the following command:

write mem

 

To view the log, enter the following command:

show log ap-debug <number of lines>
