How do I keep the previous report format, which is not available in new release?

Jul 10, 2014 01:02 PM

Product and Software: This article applies to all Aruba RFprotect distributed software versions.

Copy the report template for the previous load and overwrite the file in the current load.

For example:

In RFprotect 6.5.1, the Rogue AP Summary report includes all neighbor APs and the signal level of each AP. However, in RFprotect 6.6, the Rogue AP Summary report shows only Rogue AP, which is correct, but no other report can provide the function of the report in version 6.5.1.

To copy the report template for the previous load and overwrite the file in the current load, follow these steps:

  1.  Back up the NCRogueAPSummary.rpt file under ...\RFprotect Client\Report in the current load.
  2.  Copy the NCRogueAPSummary.rpt file from version 6.5.1 and replace the NCRogueAPSummary.rpt file in the current load.
