How do I prevent MUX tunnel forwarding loops?

Aruba Employee

Product and Software: This article applies to all Aruba controllers running ArubaOS 3.3.2 and later.

ArubaOS 3.3.2 has added the new command "mux-loop-prevention" to prevent MUX tunnel forwarding loops. When it is enabled, the STM process sets the NOTUNLOOPS tunnel flag in each MUX tunnel to instruct the datapath not to flood a frame from a tunnel to any MUX tunnel. This command is used to reduce flooding and eliminate forwarding loops that involve tunnels.

(config) #mux-loop-prevention
