Sometimes you may want restrict a guest provisioning user from assigning high expiry times for the users he creates.

No specific API page exists for this requirement, but the expiry time settings can be configured in the internal database.

To limit the expiry time using the WebUI of the controller:

1) Navigate to Configuration > Security > Authentication > Servers > enlarge internal DB.

2) Set the maximum expiry time in minutes.

3) Click Apply and save the settings.

After this parameter has been configured, the guest provisioning user will not be able to assign a user expiry time that is higher than is specified in the above mentioned field.
