Question: How do I upgrade the backup partition image of RAP-5X, RAP-2WG, and AP-80?
Product and Software: This article applies to Aruba RAP-5x, RAP-2WG, AP-80 and all ArubaOS versions that support these three types of APs.Aruba RAP-5x, RAP-2WG, and AP-80 have two image partitions in the flash. Other APs have only one. The image on the primary partition of every AP upgrades automatically to the controller image version while the AP terminates on a controller. To upgrade the backup partition image manually, issue the 'apflash' command with the 'backup-partition' option. For example:#apflash ap-name TEST-AP backup-partitionYou can use the 'show ap image version' command to determine:
