How do I upgrade the factory image of my RAP-2 or -5 to the latest image?

Question:  How do I upgrade the factory image of my RAP-2 or -5 to the latest image?

Product and Software: This article applies to RAP-2 and -5 and ArubaOS 5.x and RN code.

To upgrade or reset the factory image of a RAP-2 or -5 to the latest image, issue this command from the enable mode of the controller:
(Aruba) # apflash ap-name <name_of_AP> backup
This command does not reset the AP to the default factory image. This command overwrites the backup partition of the AP that keeps the factory image to the OS version of the controller.

So the factory default image will be lost, because this command is intended for upgrading RAP-2 or -5 factory image to latest images.
