Controller Based WLANs

How does the Device type is been identified for the clients on the controller

Environment : Controller, APs and Win clients with different version

 

The Clients classified as Win XP are "Windows NT 5.1" and Clients classified as Win 7 are of "Windows NT 6.1"

 Win XP classified client:
