How to change the default gateway on the Aruba controller?

Environment : This article applies to all the model controllers and all the Aruba OS versions.

Configuration Steps :

 

From the CLI:
 
(Aruba) (config) #show ip route
 
Codes: C - connected, O - OSPF, R - RIP, S - static
       M - mgmt, U - route usable, * - candidate default, V - RAPNG VPN
 
Gateway of last resort is Imported from DHCP to network 0.0.0.0 at cost 10
Gateway of last resort is Imported from CELL to network 0.0.0.0 at cost 10
Gateway of last resort is Imported from PPPOE to network 0.0.0.0 at cost 10
Gateway of last resort is 192.168.1.5 to network 0.0.0.0 at cost 1                                            // current gateway ip
S*    0.0.0.0/0  [1/0] via 192.168.1.5*
C    192.168.1.0/24 is directly connected, VLAN1
C    192.168.100.0/24 is directly connected, VLAN100
C    192.168.1.3/32 is an ipsec map default-psk-redundant-master-ipsecmap
 
(Aruba) (config) #show running-config | include gateway
Building Configuration...
ip default-gateway 192.168.1.5
 
(Aruba) (config) #no ip default-gateway 192.168.1.5                                                                   //command to remove the gateway ip
(Aruba) (config) #
(Aruba) (config) #
(Aruba) (config) #ip default-gateway 192.168.100.1                                                                   //command to add the gateway ip

 

Verification :

 

(Aruba) (config) #show ip route
