How to configure and what is the benefit of "Anyspot" profile?

Aruba Employee
Requirement:

An Aruba controller running 6.4.3.x and above.

Solution:
The "anyspot" client probe suppression feature in VAP profile decreases network traffic by suppressing probe requests from clients attempting to locate and connect to other known networks.
By reducing the frequency of probe requests being sent by the clients, will free up network resources and improves network performance for the clients.

Configuration:
We need to create a new profile for "anyspot" as there is no default profile available as below.

Below image shows that the configured "anyspot" profile has been mapped to the VirtualAP (VAP).

Verification
As per below image we could see that the essid "aruba-ap" has been excluded from this and rest of the probe requests will be suppressed.

Below image shows that we have mapped the "anyspot" profile to VirtualAP (VAP).
