Q:

How to run multiple instances of AirRecorder from the same computer?

A:

Sometime we may need to run AirRecorder with different sets of commands against multiple controllers or IAPs. For example, in case of troubleshooting IAP VPN to a controller, we may need to run AirRecorder for both IAP and controller at the same time. Or we may want to run AirRecorder against multiple IAP clusters at the same time.

To run multiple instances of AirRecorder,

1. Create two (or multiple) separate folders on your computer.

2. Extract the AirRecorder package contents to both the folders (i.e two folder with the same content files).

3. Create the commands file (e.g commands.txt) and the credential file for the different target controllers/IAPs on the respective folders.

4. Open command prompt, change the working directory location to the first folder and run AirRecorder for the first controller.

5. Open another command prompt window, change the working directory location to the second folder and run AirRecorder for the second controller.

6. The output files for the two different controllers/IAPs will get saved on the respective folders.

Below is a screen shot of two AirRecorder instances running simultaneously for two different IAPs
