Controller Based WLANs

No VIA configuration options in the “Layer 3 authentication tab”

Environment : This article applies to Aruba Mobility Controllers running ArubaOS version 6.0 and higher.

Aruba OS 5.x allows to use VIA (with a default role) without a PEF VPN licence. However this has been changed with AOS 6.x. All of the VIA configuration options in the “Layer 3 authentication tab” are not going to be displayed without a valid PEF VPN licence.

VIA requires the PEFV license and is supported on the 600 Series, 3000 Series, M3, and 7200 controller.
