On Aruba Controller can only the audit-trail logs be sent to the syslog server?

Question: On Aruba Controller can only the audit-trail logs be sent to the syslog server?


Environment: This article applies to the Aruba Controller deployments where syslog server is used as logging server.

 

Generally, when syslog server is configured as logging server, all the logs including debug logs are pushed to the server. And, when it comes to dense deployments, more and more logs gets pushed consuming space on the servers.

Some administrators, would be interested to keep a track of only the configurations that had been made on the controller.  The image below helps to do the same:

As show below, the audit trail information is sent to "Local1" at "Notice" Level.
