What are the Communication and Collaboration services supported by Aruba OS?

Environment : Voice over WLAN

 

The Unified Communications Manager solution will encompass various Voice and Video service/protocols, along with the collaboration services like Desktop sharing, File Transfer, etc. It will though not be limited by the existing communication and collaboration services provided in AOS (6.4), as listed below:

  1. SIP                   Session Initial Protocol
  2. SCCP              Skinny Client Control Protocol (used by Cisco phones)
  3. SVP                  Spectralink Voice Priority (used by Polycom phones)
  4. NOE                  New Office Environment (used by Alcatel phones)
  5. VOCERA           Vocera IP phones (used in hospitals)
  6. H323                  ITU-T standard for audio-visual sessions (used by Avaya, Ascom phones)
  7. Lync                   Microsoft enterprise real-time communicator
  8. Facetime           Apple’s application for real-time communication
