What are the functions provided by Unified Communication Manager?

The Unified Communications Manager will provide the following functionality, for all communication and collaboration services:

 

  • Identification of real-time traffic carrying Voice/Video and other UCC applications.

  • Protocol aware QoS to ensure Voice, Video traffic is prioritized appropriately.

  • Intelligent call handling that integrates with ARM 3.0 for pro-active load balancing before call denial.

  • Support for all major Voice, Video signaling protocols, with infrastructure to add more in the future.

  • Highest Voice, Video call capacity.

  • Preclude some users from obtaining higher priority for their Voice, Video traffic.

  • Dynamically open firewall for Voice, Video traffic, without the need for pre-configured exceptions.

  • Call quality analysis logic that co-relates call quality with wireless conditions.

  • Rich visibility built in the Dashboard and Airwave platforms.
