What does this error message mean: "No Such Instance currently exists at this OID monAPInfoRSSI"?

Aruba Employee

Product and Software: This article applies to all Aruba controllers and ArubaOS 3.x.

On the SNMP server, when you upload the aruba-mon MIB and try to poll this MIB OID "1.3.6.1.4.1.14823.2.2.1.6.7.1.1.1.5", the following error is shown:

"No Such Instance currently exists at this OID"

For the WLSX-MON-MIB::monAPInfoRSSI MIB to work, there should be monitored APs entries detected by an active AP.

Issue the following command and verify that there are monitored APs detected:

show ap monitor ap-list ap-name <name of the AP>

When you execute this command, if you see monitored access points and you try to poll the specific OID information, it will be successful.

The screenshot of "1.3.6.1.4.1.14823.2.2.1.6.7.1.1.1.5" is shown for your reference.
