What happens when a VLAN is set to 0 or N/A in the virtual AP profile?

Aruba Employee

Product and Software: This article applies to all Aruba controllers and ArubaOS 3.x.

When a VLAN is set to 0 or N/A in the virtual AP profile, the controller preserves the VLAN of the tunnel.

For example, if the tunnel is addressed to the VLAN 100 IP interface of the controller, the wireless user is assigned to VLAN 100.

If the tunnel is addressed to the loopback IP, the wireless user is assigned to the VLAN of the ingress port.
