What is EAPOL rate optimization and how to configure it

There are 4 EAPOL Keys that are exchanged between AP & Client during the WPA/WPA2 Handshake
PSK:

 

The EAPOL keys that are sent from AP to the Client are sent at 11n rates when optimization is disabled

The EAPOL keys that are sent from AP to the Client are sent at 24Mbps when optimization is enabled

802.1x Authentication:

The EAPOL Request/Response & EAPOL keys that are sent from AP to the Client are sent at 11n rates when optimization is disabled

The EAPOL Request/Response & EAPOL keys that are sent from AP to the Client are sent at 24Mbps when optimization is enabled

 

Enable EAPOL Rate Optimization

(Seraph_Master) (SSID Profile "default") #

Disable EAPOL Rate Optimization

(Seraph_Master) (SSID Profile "default") #no eapol-rate-opt
(Seraph_Master) (SSID Profile "default") #
