What is the function of the ?ip cp-redirect-address? command?

Product and Software: This article applies to ArubaOS 3.3.x.x, 3.4.x.x, and 5.0.


In configuration mode, 'ip cp-redirect-address' has two parameters:

(config) #ip cp-redirect-address ?


A.B.C.D Redirect unauthenticated user to this IP address
disable Disable automatic DNS resolution for captive portal



To remove the ip cp-redirect to a particular IP address, issue the following command:

no ip cp-redirect-address <ip address>

 

To disable the CP DNS interception by the datapath, issue the following command:

ip cp-redirect-address disable

This command is used when the customer wants to use their own DNS server to translate the "securelogin.arubanetworks.com".

To disable this feature, issue this command:

no ip cp-redirect-address disable
