Q:

What is the reason we get the below error while executing aaa user delete for a HP switch in controller?

(a7200-4-sa.attwifi.com) #aaa user delete 100.65.200.114
user delete for HP switches is not supported.

A:

when user ageout handler gets called, there is check for trusted users, ap users to not delete them. This check also includes HPE Switch users. Because of this check, HPE switch users remains as stale entries in user-table forever even though the tunnel with controller has been gone since long. This causes a problem when user table crosses max users limit and customer wants to bring up new devices. We dont allow to manually delete hpw-switch user and it is expected to taken care internally.
