Q:

What is the server rule "Attribute=Filter-Id, Operation=value-of, Action=set role" meant for ?

A:

This is a wild card server rule for the Filter-Id attribute. This will accept and substitute, whatever value the RADIUS server presents as Filter-Id.
For example if the Filter-Id is equal to "admin", controller will try to see if we have role configured as "admin" and assign the user accordingly otherwise the user will be
assigned on the default authentication role on the aaa profile.

Note: This attribute value is case sensitive, the role configured on the controller should completely match the Filter-Id.
