Controller Based WLANs

What percentage of memory must be always free for the expansion of such files as the system and config files?

Product and Software: This article applies to all Aruba controllers and ArubaOS versions.

Aruba requires a minimum of 5 MB of free memory and 5 MB of free flash space for stable system operation. But if you are close to these numbers, a problem can occur that should be further investigated.

When the controller free memory drops below this threshold, the kernel starts to kill processes that are consuming the most memory, which results in process crashes and system reboots.
