Which AP configuration changes or command trigger an AP reboot?

Product and Software: This article applies to all Aruba controllers and ArubaOS versions.

The following changes of the configuration parameters trigger an AP reboot:

•     Wired port forwarding mode changing between tunnel mode and split/bridge mode
•     Virtual AP forward mode changing between tunnel mode and split/bridge mode

Forward mode changing between split and bridge mode causes only AP rebootstrapping.

The following commands cause an AP reboot:
#apboot
#apflash
#ap-regroup
(config)#provision-ap reprovision
