Which command output displays the fragmentation and MAC errors and how is it incremented each time?

Product and Software: This article applies to all Aruba controllers and ArubaOS versions.

 

Fragmentation and MAC errors are expressed in percentages in the RF arm summary. The fragmentation counter is incremented each time a frame with the MORE_FRAG flag set is received. The MAC error is incremented each time a frame with a CRC erroris received.

 

The most effective way to determine the errors seen in these counters is to do a wireless packet capture on the channel in question.


Here is sample output of the 'show ap arm rf-summary' and 'show ap association' commands:
