Why is the AP-52 rebooting in ArubaOS 2.5.5.3 and 2.5.5.4?

Product and Software: This article applies to Aruba AP-52s and ArubaOS 2.5.5.3 and 2.5.5.4.

If the AP-52 reboots after ArubaOS has been upgraded to 2.5.5.3, check if telnet is enabled under AP location. If so, disable telnet. There is a known issue with the telnet daemon on the AP-52 withArubaOS 2.5.5.3 and 2.5.5.4.

In the configuration terminal, issue the following command:

ap location 0.0.0

telnet disable

Issue a write memory command so that the configuration is pushed to the locals as well.
