Will WPA TKIP work with 802.11n?

Jul 09, 2014 05:09 PM

Product and Software: This article applies to Aruba AP-125 access points and ArubaOS 3.3.2.x.

Usually WPA TKIP does not work with 802.11n standard. 802.11n usually works with Open or WPA2/AES. However, in ArubaOS 3.3.2.x, an option in the High Throughput profile is added to allow WPA TKIP.

WPA TKIP works in ArubaOS 3.3.2.x if the "allow-weak-encryption" option is enabled in the HT SSID profile
