Can I assign labels to clients on Aruba Central?

Environment : This article applies to IAP clusters that are being manged by Aruba Central.

 

Aruba Central is a cloud based solution that simplifies the management of multiple Instant clusters. When hundred of IAPs are being managed and monitored, then there needs to be a easier way to search for an IAP or Client on the web portal.

This is where labels comes in and helps us to easily search on the Aruba Central. Instant APs can be marked with different labels based on its location or type of the AP. It could any word helps an administrator to easily identify an IAP.  As shown in below screen shots:

So, we do see label column  for clients. As shown in the below screenshot:

NOTE:  The label column in the list of clients is only to display the labels of the Access Point, that it is associated to. If the associated AP has a label configured, then it would display for the client. But, if the associated AP do not have the label configured, then this column will be blank.
