Can I configure the DHCP scope in a VLAN that is assigned to a virtual controller?
Question: Can I configure the DHCP scope in a VLAN that is assigned to a virtual controller?
Product and Software: This article applies to Aruba Instant 126.96.36.199_188.8.131.52.
The DHCP scope is configurable in Aruba Instant 184.108.40.206_220.127.116.11. The maximum number of hosts that is supported in the DHCP scope is 2048.
Caution: The network and the subnet mask that is configured must be unique and must be a new subnet that is not in use in your entire corporate network. For example, if you have deployed 10.1.2.0/24 for your server subnet and then you configure the subnet 10.1.0.0/16, a connectivity issue occurs in your wired and wireless networks.
1) Click Setting > Show advanced options.
2) In the DHCP Server section, enter:
- Domain name
- DNS server(s). You can configure up to two DNS servers and use as separator.
- Lease time
