Does reinstalling Onguard Agent on client machine, replace the existing log files?
Yes. reinstalling Onguard Agent with the default settings will replace the existing logs on the client machine with the new ones.
Based on the operating system running on the client machine, the programs are designed to select a default path on the drive. For example:
On windows, it takes the path as : %ProgramFiles%\Aruba Networks\ClearPassOnGuard\etc\agent.conf
On Mac OS X, it takes the path as : /Library/Application\ Support/ClearPassOnGuard/agent.conf
If the user is experiencing any issues or instability with the client application, then It is recommended to take backup of the installation folder before upgrading or reinstalling the application.
