Controller-less WLANs

How do I check if the Instant cluster is successfully connected to Aruba Central?

Environment : This article applies to Aruba Instant Access Points running InstantOS 6.3.1.4-4.0.0.6 and later.

Answer :

Aruba Central is a cloud-based  platform that enables you to manage entire Aruba Instant Wireless Network.  Central provides a standard web based interface that allows one to configure and monitor multiple Aruba Instant networks from anywhere with a connection to the Internet.

Only the Virtual Controller(VC) of the instant cluster connects to the Aruba Central over the https secure connection. To check the status of the connection, execute the command "show ap debug cloud-server" on the VC.

Below is the screenshot from the command line:

Prior to 6.3.1.4-4.0.0.6, the command was slight different. As the screenshot shows below, one need run the command "show ap debug athena"
