To configure a 802.1x authentication for wired client follow the below steps:
Step 1: We can configure the 802.1x authentication from two places as show below:
Step 2: If you have profile created and want to make changes we can do it from "Configuration" or "Wired" however if need to create "New" or "Delete" old profile that can only be done under "Wired" option.
Step 3: Select "Employee" option for Primary usage
Step 4: Under VLAN Management we can configure the port either Trunk (Native and Allowed VLAN List) or Access Port (One Access VLAN).
Step 5: Enable "802.1x authentication" and Select the "Authentication Server" (Max can be Two).
We can select "External Server" or "Internal Server" or if need to do load balancing then one External and one Internal or both External server can be Mapped.

Step 6: Map the Policies
Step 7: Under Wired Networks we can see the new created profile and can be mapped to the Instant Access Point Eth ports.
