How do I remove a client manually from the blacklist table in the Aruba IAP?

Jul 04, 2014 05:24 PM

Question:  How do I remove a client manually from the blacklist table in the Aruba IAP?

Product and Software: This article applies to all Aruba Instant AP that run 6.1.3.1 and later.

In Aruba Instant, if the client is blacklisted, it stays blacklisted as long as is mentioned in the blacklist time. If the client tries to connect again to the SSID within the specified interval, the client again cannot connect.

To allow the client to connect before the blacklist time expires, you can manually remove the client from the blacklist clients table using the IAP CLI and issuing this command:

#remove-blacklist-client <client's mac-address>

To see the blacklisted clients, issue this command:

# show blacklist-client
