Probable reason for the cluster/VC reboot after adding a new IAP, managed/Configured using Airwave in template mode.

Environment : This is seen on IAP cluster managed/Configured using Airwave in template mode.

 

As Airwave will issue reboot to VC, if it identify new IAP with same VC key.

In order to avoid it we should remove the VC Key from the template

Example :

Aruba-Instant# show run
version 6.4.2.0-4.1.1
virtual-controller-country IN
virtual-controller-key c9ef686f01d6177bca3cea7009d046e81fa738d3abf58b4d6c <<<<< remove this line from the template on the Airwave.
name Instant-C2:5D:D0
