MAC authentication can be configured for any 802.11 security type. MAC authentication is configured on the AAA-profile which is connected to a Virtual-AP profile. The Virtual-AP profile has a SSID-profile connected to it.

Keep in mind that MAC authentication can only be used on open and PSK networks.

You can only use MAC addresses as an authorization source for 802.1X, not authentication.

You can use open or WPA2-PSK.
