How do you reset the AP 365 to factory defaults.  I can't log onto setmeup any longer.  Also, the 365 shows up in Devices in Central but doesn't show up in Access Points.

There is a reset button inside/under the clear USB screw cover (where you would connect the microusb port, there's a button there you can hold down with a paper clip).

Can the 365 be managed by Central?  I went into configuration and set a static IP, rebooted it but it still shows the DHCP IP not the static.  If I go back and edit the config on the AP it shows the static addresss already there.  Also it wants a country code but I shouldn't have to enter one since I am in the US.

    As of 2.3.3 yes. http://help.central.arubanetworks.com/2.3.3/documentation/online_help/content/front_matter/welcome.htm?Highlight=IAP%20version

What are you entering the information in, the provisioning page from 'setmeup' or did you already load instant on the AP manually (or some other way)?

I can logon to the Setmeup page and enter the static IP address, save and reboot the device but it doesn't show up in Central.  I manually added the device in central, assigned subscription but it never shows up under Access Points.

I would open a TAC case to get them to help. I had no issues, just connected it to the internet and it came up. Are you sure you have IP, DNS, etc all configure and the 365 can resolve addresses, get out to the internet, etc?

Also what is your ISP? Note this advisory - http://support.arubanetworks.com/LinkClick.aspx?link=https%3a%2f%2fsupport.arubanetworks.com%2fDocumentation%2ftabid%2f77%2fDMXModule%2f512%2fCommand%2fCore_Download%2fDefault.aspx%3fEntryId%3d26075&tabid=139&mid=381

Can the IAP-365 be reset to factory defaults via CLI? Have one IAP-365 that is not in the same firmware as the rest and it cannot sync with our AirWave server. The IAP-365 is extremely high and at this immediate moment, it is impossible to reach the IAP-365 to perform this by pressing the reset button.

    Thanks!,

If you can SSH into it:  http://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/Instant_423_WebHelp/InstantWebHelp.htm#CLI_commands/write.htm?Highlight=reset

Do you have all 365s in your cluster? Do you have airwave enforcing firmware?

I do have airwave enforcing firmware but for some odd reason, this IAP did not update when connected to the VLAN where airwave resides. My logic is simple since the IAP is at a lower firmware version than the current cluster I can submit a reset via CLI, the IAP will not be recognized because of the difference in firmware, and then push the firmware update. When it automatically reboots it will be discovered by the airwave server.

Any other suggestions you guys have?

Do you have a DHCP option pointing that IAP to Airwave? IAPs do not discover Airwave simply by being on the same subnet as Airwave.
