Airgroup does not work on controller and not on instant

    Hi community,

     

    I want to test airgroup, first I tested Airgroup with our Controller, if Airgroup is disabled the Apple Devices found each other on the same vlan ...

    If I enabled Airgroup, the controller can see the Airgroup events but the devices can´t find each other...

    There is no dissallow vlan the services are enabled ....

     

    OK, I think I test this with our Instants...

    the same Problem. Everything works fine when airgroup is disabled.

    If Airgroup is enabled and the services are enabled, the devices can not find other divices,

     

    Need help to find my issue....

    You'll want to enable drop broadcast/multicast (controller) or broadcast filter all (instant) and then enable AirGroup. Make sure you enable the individual services in AirGroup.

    When you edit an SSID, it is on the first screen under advanced options.

    ok, I enabled it, but still the same problem.

     

    The Instant can see everything in the cache but the devices can not find each other...

    Update:

     

    I turned off Airgroup on my Instant, the devices can find each other.

    When my iPhone found my mac and I turn on Airgroup, the communication between iphone and mac works...

    I think this is a problem with the device discovery...

     

    When Airgroup is enabled, I can not find any other device...

    Is there a firewall rule or an ACL that blocks the communication?

     

    Have anyone an idea?
