Aruba AP225 issue over AOS 6.4.4.10
Aruba AP225 issue over AOS 6.4.4.10
11-22-2016 11:08 PM
Hi everyone, we are facing issues here on AP225 wired port after upgrading to AOS 6.4.4.10 from 6.4.2.6. All AP's where fine from 6.4.2.6 we have 135/134, 124 and 225 until we upgrade to 6.4.4.10 the suddenly all AP225 wired port goes down as per investigation after the came up for a min up then after a 30 sec it goes down. Attaching
power injector to the 225 wont change the behaviour.
Maybe somebody face the same issue would mind to share how they fix it. I still have a pending TAC case at the moment.

It is because your injectors only support 802.3af. You need a 802.3at injector for the second ethernet port to work on the ap-225:

Why is that the AP225 needs power injector upon upgrading to 6.4.4.10 while in 6.4.2.6 dont need to.?

We have upgrade one of our controller from 6.4.2.6 which the AP225 works fine specialy the extra wired port now we upgraded to 6.4.4.10 all of the AP 225 wired port wont work and wireless works fine. Now it ask us to use for Additional power injector to make it work while on the 6.4.2.6 it doesnt require.

Does TAC have all of your information? What did TAC say? We would only be guessing here, because we do not have all your information on this forum.
