    Hi guys,

    I have a provision network that I will be using to setup new iPads.  This has a captive portal so that I can onboard the units but we have hit a brick wall as the ipad requires activation which the captive portal seems to get upset about.  We have whitelisted apple.com but still not able to get through.  

     

    I can jump on another network and activate, but I really need to make this as easy as possible.

    Yes...you need to enable Apple Captive Portal Bypass.  In your redirect link to OnBoard, (assuming you're using ClearPass), insert "landing.php" into the URL.  For example:

     

    http://clearpass.company.com/guest/landing.php/device_provisioning.php
