Aruba Instant and Airwave in different networks

I've been trying to set up communication between Airwave 7.6.4 and an Aruba Instant 135 running 6.2.1.0-3.3.0 .

The Intant AP is one one network and Airwave is in another. There's arouter between both networks.

    The topology looks like this:

I can ping Airwave from the Instant IP and viceversa, but my Instant AP doesn't add itself to Airwave.

I've been able to do this when they are on the same network, but not when they are in different networks.

I'm not using DHCP for Airwave Discovery.

Is there a way I can debug the Airwave process to see possible error messages? Have I made a mistake in my configuration?

In your IAP go to System > Admin  then specify the AirWave serviers' IP address.   Once the IAP knows the location of the AirWave server it communicates via HTTPs every 60 seconds.

If you've added this cluster in the past to Airwave, have you removed it at all?

    Marcus:

I've already added the Airwave configuration on the IAP GUI. It seems to work fine when my IAP and my Airwave are on the same network.

    Seth:

By cluster you mean the IAP and the Virtual Controller? If so I may have added it before, I'll have to check.

Yes. Was the cluster already in Airwave.

I solved it by configuring the SNMPv3 credentials, both in Aruba Instant and in Airwave.

I have exactly same issue -- different IP addresses!

Where are the SNMPv3 seting on the VC?

On Aruba Instant version 6.2.1.0-3.4.0.2, the SNMP settings are found on:

System > Tick [Show Advanced Options] > Monitoring > SNMP
