I have Aruba 6000 Controller running  ArubaOS (MODEL: Aruba6000-US), Version 6.4.4.6

I am working on providing Network Management Application Support for the device. In the process , I need to know the various cards installed on the device

 

"show slots" does not indicate the presence of a line card  nor the "show inventory".

 

However , when I do a "show port status" I see a listing of GE ports on the device. 

 

I want to know if there is a way via CLI or MIB query to know the cards ( supervisor & line card ) on the device.

The ports you're seeing with "show port status" are the physical ports on the M3 supervisor card, not ports on the line cards. I don't believe the M3 supported use of the line cards, where previous supervisors (Sup1 and Sup2) did. If the M3 did support line cards, it would have been in earlier software prior to AOS 6.

Can I populate all the slots with M3 card ? [ if Iam running 6.4.x & above ]
