    Hello,

I'm interested in doing some test with Instant AP 224 and I would know if there is some way to enable and disable only specific MCS (for example only allow MCS9) for test purpose.

Also if we can also fix the channel bandwidth (for example only working with 40 or 80 Mhz channels).

    Thank you

Configuring the MCS rates is not possible on instant.  Configuring channel width, is supported.  It is called "Wide Channel Bands" for 40mhz configuration and "80 mhz support" for 80 mhz channels in the ARM profile:  http://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/Instant_41_WebHelp/InstantWebHelp.htm#UG_files/ARM/Configuring_ARM-Features.htm

Yes, it is possible on ArubaOS (controller-based). You can configure this under the relevant HT SSID Profile, which is connected to the relevant SSID-profile.

    "Supported MCS set" for 802.11n

"VHT - Supported MCS map" for 802.11ac

    Thank you for your answers,

So, in case of using Instant AP OS on AP 224, are all MCSx available to use by default?
